Harlem’s restaurants are gearing up for the holiday season and with new menus, Christmas Day and Christmas Eve menus, and New Year’s Eve specials. As we all reflect on our year and the new year upon us, enjoy the last days of 2012!

This holiday season, The 5 and Diamond will be open for a Christmas Eve Dinner and a Christmas Day Brunch. Located along Harlem’s Restaurant Row, The 5 and Diamond highlights their Winter Menu dishes including Hot Mac & Greens, Blackened Catfish and Grits, Parpadelle with Pulled Short Ribs, and a Whole Fish Dinner with Chef Selections. Chez Lucienne 308 Lenox Ave (at 125th Street)

The cozy and charming Chez Lucienne has rolled out both a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Menu for adults and children. The prix fixe menu is priced at $45 for adults and $30 for children. The menu’s appetizers include Bisque de Homard (Lobster bisque with Croutons) and a Seafood fricassee in Puff Pastry. Supreme of Chicken with black truffles and mashed potatoes and Grilled Atlantic Salmon with champagne sauce highlight entrée selections. Bruche De Noel will round out the dessert selection. Chez Lucienne will also host a New Years Eve Gala along with a 3 course prix fixe menu. The dinner will be hosted from 5PM to 8PM at $45 per person and 9:30PM- closing at $75 per person. Red Rooster 310 Lenox Avenue

This year join Red Rooster to ring in the New Year. DJ Scratch and DJ Jon Quick will lead the night off with music, food, and an open bar between 11PM and 2AM with a champagne toast at midnight by Moet & Chandon. First seating dinner includes a $75 prix fixe 3 course menu with reservations available between 7PM-8PM. The New Year’s Eve Celebration Dinner includes a $150 prix fixe 3 course dinner available at 10PM. General admission after 11PM is $75 with an open bar until 2AM. Festive attire is required. This season 67 Orange Street has unveiled a new menu with new appetizers and starters. Kale Caesar Salad with Roasted Garlic Croutons, Parmesan, Shaved Boiled Egg and Fennel & Arugula Salad with ricotta Salata, Pomegranate seeds, and Oregano Stone Ground Mustard Vinaigrette include new Salad selections. Juicy Lucy Meat Ball Sliders with Fresh Mozzarella Cheese served on a Potato Bun and Truffle and Parm Shake, hand cut Potato Fries with Thyme, Truffle Oil, and Parmesan round off some of their new menu choices.

 EK Café is taking the stress off preparing your holiday meal this year with their EK Holiday Menu.
